Juan Carlos Antuña Marrero

Graduado de Licenciatura en Física en la Universidad de La Habana en julio de 1981, Master en Ciencias Meteorológicas en la Universidad de Maryland, Estados Unidos en Agosto de 1998, Doctor en Ciencias de la Atmósfera en Julio de 2002, Universidad de Rutgers, Nueva Jersey, Estados Unidos.

Laboró como especialista en radares meteorológicos desde 1982 hasta 1986 en el marco del Laboratorio Conjunto Soviético - Cubano. Entre 1987 y 1988 labora como especialista del Laboratorio Espectral de la Empresa Geológica de Camagüey. Desde 1989 es el Investigador Principal de la Estación Lidar de Camagüey.
